Candida and Acne

Do Candida and Acne go hand in hand? Get help for acne's root causes and candida and acne can both be a thing of the past.

Candida and Acne There is, however, a step by step plan of action for determining if Candida is a factor in your acne, and if so, how to best eliminate the yeast overgrowth contributing to your acne condition.

Are Your Candida and Your Acne Linked?

One of the easiest and most effective ways to determine if you are experiencing an imbalance in ratio of good to bad gut bacteria (i.e. dysbiosis) is to take a Candida Survey.

So, I have done the cleanse for four weeks now and I must say I am really happy I have done it! I feel a lot better. My candida score is down to 75 which I think is cut in half from when I came to see you!

I would like to stick to eating this way as much as I can with a bit of whole grain added in and then a treat here and there like you told me 6 years ago when I first did a cleanse like this.

Thanks so much for steering me the right way again. My body just really agrees with that things you suggest to me all the time!
AJ

If survey results seem to indicate that dysbiosis is present, then it is likely that your candida and at least some of your acne symptoms are linked, with a couple of possible results:
  • you can have a high degree of candida overgrowth, and acne-like rashes can be an actual yeast infection, not unlike athlete's foot or infant yeast diaper rash
  • you can have a high degree of candida overgrowth, and acne-like rashes can simply be the body's attempt at waste removal through its largest elimination organ, the skin.

If candida overgrowth does indeed seem to be present, then follow the Candida Cleanse protocol, eat from the Anti-Candida Diet, add a Candida Pack to your shopping cart, and work to minimize Candida die-off. Acne may initially get worse, but gradually, as yeast overgrowth diminishes, skin condition should improve. Lessen overgrowth of candida, and your acne should definitely lessen as well.
